Abstract

The importance of industrialization as one of the essential decisions for the social and economic development of the developing countries is an undeniable fact. Nowadays one can easily notice the significance of industrialization on all sector and fields. Especially economic sectors which can bring about much economic developments. Accordingly in the last two decades the establishment of factories in rural areas as well as industrial town aiming at the development of these areas has been one of the main priorities for policy-makers in this sectors. In this research which aims at the examination of the impacts of the building of the industrial towns in the socio-economic development of rural areas ‘ eight villages(among which four of them have industries and the rest are without any industries) in Babol township has been chosen as sample.The results of this research which has been obtained through statistical analysis(parametric and non- parametric statistics) shows that in sample ' the majority of development criteria including consumption patterns(food’ clothing’ and consumer goods). Housing insurance’ job security and consent’ eduation’ village life encouragement’… differs considerable for the two studied cases.
