Urbanization development, Urban development, rapid population growth and industerial different activities have caused severe air pollution. The result of this problem has been appeared as different types of diseases particularly pulmonary and heart diseases on urban habitants.
It has been studied relationship between climatic elements such as temperature, pressure, relatively humidity and atmospheric pollutants likewise Co, No2, So2, HC and PM-10 with deaths rate of heart- diseases by using descriptive statistical methods Tehran City during 1999- 2003.
Climatic elements and air pollutions data analysis showed strong correlation coefficient between monthly and annual average all of variables with deaths rate of heart- diseases. It can be concluded that there is relationship between monthly mean climatic elements, air pollutions and monthly mean deaths rate of heart - diseases. The number of deaths rate of heart diseases has been increased due to cold months (December, January and February), pressure increasing, solar radiation deficit, the day length shortage and decreasing height of inversion layer. So it has been increased death rate of heart- diseases with temperature decrease and pressure growth.
