One of the most important and complex subigect in the above fields is “Object Recognition In Complex (2 - D) Scenes” Which have no constraints on position, scale and angle of object.
In this work the desired application is recognition of symbols in geographic or technical maps. As a general issue, the recognition of the symbols in a complex scene, including lines, curves or characters, is desired, the above approach is used to recognize symbols of map, for creation GIS systems. In this work, the object recognition is based on optimization of a specific fitness function by Genetc Algorithm.
