This article aims to study the historical change of tehran from a geographical view point, that is, what has led to the formation of the prezent areas in tehran. the writer attempts to study tehran in seven sensitive stages of its formation and compare its present areas to its previous ones. the discussion is centered on the spatial axis of Tehran's old areas. In other words, the article is based on the geographical position of Tehran's areas in the history of its formation.
