According to the formal reports, Tehran is one of the polluted cities and it has 20 times more pollution when comparing with a similar city in the world. Based on the importance of subject, in this article, the effect of the geographic structure and topographic situation of Tehran are discussed. In addition, the role of climatic factors such as wing, rain, fog, and inversion on the air pollution of the city are examined here to explain their separate and complex consequences on the subject.
