Abstract

It has been appeared continued droughts in Iran especially regional aspect in Hamadan Northern plains recent years. As a result running water resources have been dried or too deficit and water tables have been fallen down intensively. It has been used the Z standard percentage index differential methods for drought and their intensities. Also determined the 77-79 years as a drought index. GIS (Arc/view) ability and Yetzold equation have been applied for determining rainfall deficit and aridity.
The drought intensity maps illustrated that intensity region are appearance with those stations have high underground water tables deficit. However ground water tables react to drought based on type and deep of water table . Geophysical , geohydrological characterstics and surface water drainage.
