Abstract
This paper compares the accuracy of spatial data estimated by some areal interpolation methods. Four areal interpolation methods include TIN‚ IDW‚ spline and kriging selected then estimated areal precipitation in Kashafrud basin of Khorasan province. The performance of estimation methods was evaluated by cross validation‚ observed and estimated values were compared using two criteria include the mean bias error (MBE) and the mean absolute error (MAE). Results of this work shows TIN and Kriging methods have the most precise results for estimation precipitation.
